My Proven Process
1. Kickoff
For your convenience, I come to you. Like a live interview, you’ll share your story with me, then I’ll pull out the best content for your book.
2. Concepting
No different than a blueprint, we’ll craft a flexible table of contents to ensure you’re comfortable with the direction I’m going before I begin writing.
3. Creation
Like Rick Rubin, J.K. Rowling, & James Cameron, my best work comes from intense bursts of focus, or “sprints.” After concepting, I write sunup to sundown to hand you a near-perfect first draft in record time.
4. Optimization
When you work with me, it’s less about editing—more about optimizing. Together, we’ll take your manuscript from a 10 to an 11. Then I’ll oversee the publishing process, so you don’t have to.
5. MARKETING
As an award-winning marketer and prize-winning copywriter, I'll give you the proven strategies and systems to drive sales - and rapidly recoup your investment.
Frequently Asked Questions
For the right project (and the right price), I can have a manuscript in your hands just 90-120 days after our live kickoff. From there, much of the timeline is in the publisher's hands.
If self-publishing, I will personally ensure your book is ready for print and available to buy in record time. If working with a publisher, I will oversee them to ensure smooth publication and distribution.
My rate starts at $90K. That said, for select clients, I will consider a royalty or profit share in lieu of my full fee.
In other words, I'm happy to structure my compensation plan in a way that feels right to both of us.
While you can be involved as much as you'd like, I typically need just 2-3 days with you for our kickoff... then just 30 minutes each week for virtual milestone meetings.
The bottom line is, I know you’re busy. Therefore, I won’t be a bother.
